Several Democratic governors across the nation celebrated Halloween by dressing up as Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, who is also the Democratic vice presidential candidate. The governors who participated in this fun activity included Maryland Governor Wes Moore, Massachusetts Governor Maura Healey, New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy, Maine Governor Janet Mills, and Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer.
They took to Instagram to share photos of themselves in costumes resembling Tim Walz. The governors humorously captioned their posts, stating, “This Halloween, we decided to dress up as the least scary guy we know!” They highlighted Tim Walz's background as a former high school teacher and football coach who enjoys hunting and fixing cars. They expressed their admiration for Walz, emphasizing that he has lived a life similar to theirs, and they are proud to support him.
