After days of relentless heat across New Delhi and nearby NCR cities, residents may finally see some relief later this week as rain, thunderstorms and dust storms are expected to sweep across the region. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), Delhi continued to remain under intense heatwave-like conditions on May 25, with temperatures hovering close to 43°C–45°C in several areas. However, weather conditions are expected to change gradually from this evening onwards, with light rain, thunderstorms and strong gusty winds likely across parts of Delhi-NCR.
