Dejan Kulusevski issues Harry Kane verdict as Tanguy Ndombele makes honest transfer admission

Here is your Tottenham morning digest on Monday, February 7.

Kulusevski issues honest Kane verdict

Dejan Kulusevski made his Tottenham debut in Saturday's 3-1 victory over Brighton in the FA Cup and the new signing is already really impressed with the qualities of Harry Kane.

Kane scored twice for Spurs as they progressed into the fifth round of the FA Cup, with Kulusevski revealing how impressed he was with the "amazing" England captain.

"What impressed me was his technique, the way he stops the ball and the way he changes the whole pitch with his passes," Kulusevski said, in quotes reported by the Telegraph.

"It is amazing, really. I know that when he has the ball, I have to run because he will find me."

Ndombele makes Tottenham transfer admission

Tanguy Ndombele has admitted he was in contact with Paris Saint-Germain before leaving Tottenham for Lyon on transfer deadline day.

The Frenchman returned to the Ligue 1 club on a loan deal until the end of the season after falling down the pecking order under Antonio Conte at Spurs.

Now, Ndombele has opened up on his move away from north London and admitted that he was in dialogue with PSG.

"It is true that I was associated with PSG, there were discussions. But between the discussions and the act, there is a long way," he explained. "It was complicated with Paris for an exchange, they made it clear to me after a while."
