David de Gea criticises Manchester United's performance despite Norwich win
David de Gea has insisted that United still need to improve as he doesn't believe their performance against Norwich City, despite being victorious, was good enough.
United defeated the relegation strugglers 3-2 at Old Trafford but made life much harder than it needed to be for themselves. Ralf Rangnick's side raced into a two-goal lead through Cristiano Ronaldo and were attacking with a confidence rarely seen this season.

Yet, just before the break their defensive frailties once again became apparent as the Canaries cut through the backline to tee Kieran Dowell up to half the deficit. In the second half, it was Dowell who turned provider and split the defence with a pass to Teemu Pukki who levelled the scores.

United fans were overjoyed to see Anthony Elanga set up Ronaldo for one of his strikes against Norwich.
The 37-year-old slid the ball into an unguarded net after Elanga had pinched it from Canaries defender Ben Gibson, leaving goalkeeper Tim Krul in no man’s land. The talent has enjoyed a breakthrough season at Old Trafford and is one of the few positives to have emerged this term.
His assist was his first of the season, adding yet more sparkle to his terrific debut senior campaign. Many United fans have called for the 19-year-old to be a consistent starter, having clocked up eight in the Premier League so far this season.
