Dave Watson's wife says watching his dementia battle has been 'heartbreaking'

The wife of former footballer Dave Watson says it has been "heartbreaking" watching her husband "disappear" as he fights dementia.

Dave won 65 caps for his country and the captaincy, as well as FA and League Cup winner’s medals during his career.

It is a career which has now also left him with dementia - he remembers little of his playing career, or the 25 years spent working with his son Roger after he hung up his boots, The Mirror reports.
