Uruguay have perhaps been the most underwhelming team at the World Cup after losing 2-0 to Portugal on Monday night, as Darwin Nunez struggled again.
The South American side failed to truly get into the game and trouble Portugal - leaving a must-win clash with Ghana on Friday.
Liverpool striker Nunez started alongside Edison Cavani in attack for Uruguay as Luis Suarez was dropped to the bench.

Nunez struggled to get into the game for Uruguay after being deployed in a 4-4-2 formation and was criticised by a frustrated media in his homeland.
El Pais handed the Liverpool forward a rating of five out of 10 as they mentioned him only threatening to show his pace once throughout the 90 minutes. Portugal defender Pepe "won all of the balls" in their duels.
Futbol.com.uy didn't give a score to Nunez, but highlighted how he "struggled". They also mentioned veteran Pepe, stating how he "neutralised" Nunez in matches between Porto and Benfica last season.
ESPN Uruguay gave Nunez a rating of 4 out of 10 as they touched on lack of service: "The ball did not reach him." They did mention a corner that he won as the only real attacking output.
