Leyton Orient has backed an appeal by Essex Police who are looking for a former football executive who has been reported missing.
The League One club, based in east London, put out an appeal to help the search for Danny Macklin.
Mr Macklin, a former managing director of AFC Wimbledon, left the club and was charged with misconduct by the Football Association after it emerged he had been secretly recorded in his office allegedly making offensive comments to a female colleague.
Essex Police posted a picture online of Mr Macklin who they said had last seen seen in Great Notley at 10:50am on Friday December 1.

Danny is 6ft 4in, with a shaved head, wearing a long black coat, a grey and black bobble hat, black jeans and grey and white trainers.

They said: "Danny is 6ft 4in, with a shaved head, wearing a long black coat, a grey and black bobble hat, black jeans and grey and white trainers."Macklin previously worked for Orient, as well as Southend United, and the London club posted a message telling him: "We're all here for you and will give you all the help you need."

The club said: "It take a strong person to admit their mistakes, which you have done, and an even stronger one to overcome the adversity that follows them.
We know you can do this too."
Following the FA investigation, Macklin was charged for a breach of FA rule E3 and had until Wednesday December 6 to respond to the charge.
An FA spokesperson said: “Danny Macklin has been charged with a breach of FA rule E3 for misconduct while he was employed as the managing director of AFC Wimbledon.
“It’s alleged that Danny Macklin breached FA rule E3.1 by using abusive and/or insulting and/or threatening language in reference to a female member of AFC Wimbledon’s staff.
“It’s further alleged that this constitutes an ‘aggravated breach’, which is defined In FA rule E3.2 as the language included a reference – whether expressed or implied – to gender.”
