A dad-of-six had to have both of his legs amputated after a gruelling Covid battle turned them black.
Scott Green, from Redcar, North Yorkshire, was rushed to hospital on the first day of lockdown in 2020 as his condition worsened, but initially had no idea he had the virus.
The 50-year-old, who has five sons and one daughter, remembers being admitted to James Cook Hospital in Middlesbrough before waking up two months later.
