A cyclist is in hospital in a serious condition after being involved in a collision with a car. The incident took place on Tuesday, August 23, along Bonymaen Road in Swansea.
The 40-year-old was cycling along the road during rush hour at around 5.50pm when he was involved in the crash with a blue Peugeot 107.
Police are now appealing for people who may have witnessed the collision to come forward and asked anyone who may have dashcam footage of the incident to share it with the roads policing unit.

A statement from South Wales Police read: "We are appealing for witnesses following a collision between a bicycle and a blue Peugeot 107 on Bonymaen Road, Swansea. The collision occurred at approximately 5.50pm on Tuesday, August 23. As a result of the collision, the 40-year-old male cyclist was taken to the University Hospital of Wales where he remains in a serious condition.
"We want to hear from anyone who saw the collision, or the moments leading up to it, or who may have dashcam footage of the incident. They are requested to contact the Roads Policing Unit quoting occurrence 2200286422. We want to thank the community for their patience while the road was closed for a significant time to allow investigation work to be carried out."
