A cyclist was hospitalised after a crash near a busy Nottinghamshire junction. Emergency services were called to Trowell Road, near its junction with Bilborough Road, at around 7am on Wednesday, June 28, after a car and a cyclist collided.
A police cordon was set up near the junction, with two lanes temporarily closed by officers. A Nottinghamshire Police spokesperson explained officers were called to Trowell Road at 6.56am after a car and a cyclist collided.
The cyclist, who is a man in his 40s, was taken to hospital for treatment. The force asked witnesses with information to call 101 quoting incident 87 of June 28 2023.

Google maps and traffic monitoring systems showed the crash caused travel disruption in the area. Movement was described as "very slow" with delays impacting the M1.
