The Roly Mo has said that their first ever TRNSMT slot was better than they could have imagined.
The young band made their debut at the festival and packed out the River stage on Friday afternoon in the process.
Hailing from Cumbernauld and Stepps, The Roly Mo said they loved every minute of their performance.
Speaking with Lanarkshire Live, guitarist Jack Livingstone said: “It was so packed when we were on stage and people seemed to really enjoy it.
“To see all those people there to watch us was really humbling. It was such a great weekend in terms of weather so that really helped boost people’s spirits I think.
“We had people singing every word to our songs, it was amazing.”
The band has some big shows coming up with The View among others and aim to continue their hectic year.
“We want to have new music out and play anywhere we can.
“It’s great to see our name on a line-up like this and share the stage with massive bands and some of our closest pals.
“We’ll keep pushing on and try and get a bigger slot at TRNSMT if we can. It’s an amazing festival and we would play again any time.”
