Crude Prices Pull Back on Global Energy Demand Concerns

Sep WTI crude oil (CLU24) today is down -0.69 (-0.89%), and Sep RBOB gasoline (RBU24) is down -2.41 (-0.99%).

Crude oil and gasoline prices today fell back from 1-1/2 week highs and turned lower on global energy demand concerns after the US Jul manufacturing index contracted by the most in 8 months and the China Jul Caixin manufacturing index contracted by the most in 9 months. A stronger dollar today and weak stock prices also weigh on energy prices.
