Cristiano Ronaldo to Liverpool claim made as Reds could sign ex-Man United star

Cristiano Ronaldo to Liverpool claim made as transfer rumours continue

Gabby Agbonlahor has insisted that Cristiano Ronaldo would play for Liverpool 'if he could', declaring that the forward has no loyalties to his current club.

The 37-year-old is still yet to feature under new Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag, adding to a growing opinion that the striker will leave Old Trafford this summer.

Ronaldo returned to the Premier League last August and helped his side reach the Champions League Round of 16 as well as finding the net 24 times in 38 appearances.

He said: “No, Alisson and Diogo have no [chance]. Ali trained today more than the day before so he will be definitely available for Fulham, but not for the weekend,” the boss said on Thursday.
