Mumbai: NCP (SP) MP Supriya Sule on Saturday slammed the crackdown on people heading to Delhi for a peaceful agitation, calling the government's action "cowardly" and demanding comprehensive electoral reforms to ensure free and fair polls.
Speaking at the India Today Conclave, Sule asserted that the government should have held a dialogue with protestors staging a demonstration against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar rather than imposing restrictions.
