New Delhi: India registered 16,135 new COVID cases in the last 24 hours with a daily case positivity rate of 4.85 per cent, according to Health Ministry on Monday.
Active cases now constitute 0.26 per cent of the country's total positive cases and stand at 1,13,864.
A total of 13,958 people recovered from COVID, taking total COVID recoveries to 4,28,79,477, says Health Ministry.
As many as 24 people died due to the virus in the last 24 hours, taking the death toll to 5,25,223. (With ANI inputs)
