Countryfile's Adam Henson gave his followers an update on his health following hip surgery.
The 56-year-old told his fans he struggled to deal with the pain and had particular trouble during the Autumn months. After he decided it was no longer tolerable he chose to have surgery.
In a short clip showing him in a hospital bed, Adam said: "It’s now been pretty much 12 hours since I had my hip resurfacing operation.

"The feeling in my legs and waist have all come back now, pretty much my right leg, which is the leg I had done, is still a bit tingly and a bit weird.
"I’ve never really had surgery quite like this before, it does make me feel for all those people that have gone through things an awful lot worse."
The recovery process has been longer and more challenging than he initially expected but thanked the team on the farm for their support. He said: "I’m very lucky to have a strong team on the farm who can do all the work. In three or four weeks' time, hopefully, I’ll be back out and about."
Adam acknowledged it is difficult for small farmers to be struck out of work before prompting his fellow Countryfile hosts to visit a farm who have experienced similar issues.
