Call of Duty is bringing a new batch of exclusive rewards with the Counter Skies Event Pass in Black Ops 7 and Warzone Season 2 Reloaded.
Inspired by the Black Ops Royale mode, this event pass features new operator skins, an animated camo, and the brand-new Swordfish A1 marksman rifle. If you’re planning to complete the event pass, here’s a detailed breakdown of what’s included in the pass and how to progress through it quickly in BO7 and Warzone.

BO7 & Warzone Counter Skies Event Pass dates and price

The Counter Skies Event runs from March 17 to April 2, giving you a little over two weeks to unlock everything. Like previous events, the pass comes in two tracks: free and premium. The free track is available to all players, while the premium track costs 1,100 CoD Points (approximately $10) and includes extra cosmetic rewards.
If you’re looking to get the most out of the event, the premium track adds a solid amount of bonus content on top of the free items.
All rewards in Counter Skies Event Pass and how to unlock them
Just like the Call of Duty x Fallout Event in Season 1 Reloaded, Counter Skies is entirely XP-based. That means you simply need to play the game and earn XP across BO7 Multiplayer, Zombies, Co-Op/Endgame, and Warzone. Every bit of XP pushes you forward through the event pass tiers.

Activision hasn’t confirmed the exact XP requirement, but based on past events, you’ll likely need around 500,000 XP to complete the entire pass. As mentioned, rewards are split between the free and premium tracks, so what you unlock will depend on whether you upgrade or stick with the free version. If you’ve already racked up enough XP for the pass and decide to grab the premium track later, you’ll immediately receive all the rewards tied to it.

How to unlock Counter Skies Event Pass rewards fast
If you want to finish the pass before time runs out, focusing on XP efficiency is key. For Multiplayer, I recommend sticking to objective-based modes like Hardpoint and Domination. These modes consistently reward you with more score and XP, especially if you’re actively playing the objective, running the Squad Link field upgrade, and spamming UAVs and Counter-UAVs to stack extra points.
If PvE is more your thing, I suggest jumping into BO7 Zombies and going for high-round runs or completing challenges. The steady flow of zombie eliminations and objectives makes it one of the most reliable ways to farm XP.
For Warzone players, Resurgence is your best bet. Matches are faster-paced compared to Black Ops Royale or standard Battle Royale, giving you more opportunities to complete contracts and rack up eliminations.
And of course, don’t forget to complete daily and weekly challenges, and pop Double XP tokens whenever you have them. Once you’ve unlocked the Swordfish A1, check out our best loadout guides in BO7 Multiplayer and Warzone to maximize its firepower.
