Coronation Street star Tracy Shaw fought back tears as she explained that she missed a cancer appointment because she could not find a space in a hospital car park.
The 53-year-old, who played Maxine Peacock in the ITV soap, announced her diagnosis in April. Since then, she has posted regular updates on her treatment on her Instagram page.
In a Story posted on Wednesday (23 September), the actor told her followers she had arrived at hospital early and drove around the car park for 45 minutes but was unable to find a space, meaning she missed the appointment.
“The anxiety it's brought up is horrendous,” she explained.
