Coronation Street star Mollie Gallagher gave her new locks their first big outing as she hit the red carpet with her co-stars. The actress, who plays Nina Lucas in the ITV soap, already unveiled her new look to fans last week after asking for their advice.
The 25-year-old was seen sporting a new fringe in a video clip posted to her Instagram Story, until she sprang a surprise and unclipped it, proving that it wasn't a permanent change. "Fringe for Nina or no fringe for Nina," Mollie wrote across the post. And she was clearly in a dilemma as she asked out loud: "Does she? I don't know. Let's see."
But after testing it out, she decided to go the whole hog and has since returned to her Instagram Stories again to share a major hair update. "Yeah I got the fringe," she captioned a gorgeous selfie showing her new locks in a half-up half-down style before thanking her hairstylist Ella Green.
And earlier this week, Mollie headed out and smiled for the cameras with her new locks on full display. The soap star was out at Manchester's Palace Theatre where the musical version of the Whitney Houston blockbuster movie The Bodyguard kickstarted its two-week-long stay in the city.
Mollie posed outside the venue as she sported a little black dress with patterned tights under a long-line red leather jacket. She added a pair of chunky boots to her feet to match her outerwear while her new blonde fringe was on display as she styled her shoulder-length locks into a half-up half-down style.
And she wasn't the only Corrie star heading out to see the show. After recently celebrating their fourth anniversary, Tyrone Dobbs actor Alan Halsall was joined by his former co-star girlfriend Tisha Merry. The couple beamed together outside the theatre before Alan's daughter, Sienna, who he shares with Hollyoaks actress Lucy-Jo Hudson, also joined them as she got involved in the half-term treat.
Daniel Brocklebank (Billy Mayhew), Jimmi Harkishin (Dev Alahan), Tanisha Gorey (Asha Alahan) and Samia Langchambon (Maria Windass) were also snapped on their way to see the show as was their former co-star Kimberley Hart-Simpson, who played sex worker Nicky Wheatley in the ITV soap.
And it was somewhat of a soap crossover as Emmerdale's Chris Bisson, who is known for playing Jai Sharma, was joined by his wife for a night at the theatre while Suzie Mertona actress Martelle Edinborough also joined in The Bodguard fun.
However, it wasn't fun for all guests as the Manchester Evening News' very own Dianne Bourne given an extraordinary warning from The Palace's very own bodyguard as you can read in her three-star review of the show here.
