Cops seized £28,000 of cannabis after stopping a car while on patrol in Renfrew.
Officer's from the force's Anti-Violence Reduction Unit were carrying out plain clothes patrols in the town's Kings Inch Road yesterday morning around 11am when they stopped a vehicle to be searched.
Following a search of the car, cops uncovered a large quantity of herbal cannabis stored within the vehicle.

The drugs recovered have been sent away for testing and are understood to have a street value of £28,000.
A spokesman for Police Scotland said: "Officers from Police Scotland's Anti-Violence Reduction Unit were carrying out patrols in King's Inch Road, Renfrew, on March 30 when they stopped a vehicle for the purposes of a search under the Misuse of Drugs Act.
"During this, a large quantity of a large quantity of what is believed to be herbal cannabis was uncovered within the vehicle.
“The estimated street value of the substances found at both properties is around £28,000.
"A 26-year-old man has been arrested in connection with drug supply offences."
