Cops are searching for a man who vanished from Hertfordshire over a week ago and who may have travelled to Scotland.
Officers say James, 58, was last spotted at around 5.30pm on Thursday, December 8 leaving Tesco at Theobalds Grove in Chesnut. As he left the shop, he turned right heading northbound on the High Street.
However, it is believed that he has since travelled north and could be in the South West of Scotland.
James is described as a white male, around 5ft 10in tall, of medium build, bald and clean shaven. He was last seen wearing a white shirt, dark trousers and a dark suit jacket.
He was also carrying a dark rucksack.
It is believed that James also has connections to the Bradford area.
A spokesperson for Dumfries and Galloway Police said: "A man reported missing from Cheshunt in Hertfordshire may have travelled to the South West of Scotland including the Gretna Green, Lockerbie, Moffat and Abington areas.
"If you have seen James or know where he is please call 101"
