The Indianapolis Colts are waiving running back Jake Funk and cornerback Isaac Taylor-Stuart ahead of Tuesday’s deadline for roster cuts.
Funk was competing for the final spot in the running back room and even though he led the way with two rushing touchdowns, he averaged just 3.2 yards per carry on 17 carries during the preseason. Tom Pelissero of NFL Network first reported that roster move.

Taylor-Stuart was a late addition to the cornerback room, joining the team at the beginning of training camp. It was a long shot for him to make the roster considering how crowded the cornerback room is. Joel A. Erickson of The Indianapolis Star first reported that news.
