Coleen Nolan says Great British bake off performance was 'shocking' as she begs fans not to watch

Loose Women was back on Wednesday afternoon as Jane Moore, Christine Lampard, Coleen Nolan and Kelle Bryan sat down to chat about the latest goings on in the world.

And viewers got a juicy and exclusive clip of Coleen Nolan's experience in the iconic bake-off tent for the Great British Bake off stand-up to cancer charity special which will air this weekend.

We saw the 58-year-old chuck her apron on and throw her hair back into a ponytail as she stressed in the tent alongside presenter Noel Fielding.

"There's not enough Jelly so I don't know what I am going to do," she said.

"Why don't you go as close to the edge as you can," suggested the Channel 4 presenter.

Coleen quipped: "I am. Being here today I couldn't get any closer to the edge."

ITV presenter Coleen was making a 'strawberries and cream' type dessert as she expressed her shock at even taking part in the show.

"Who even am I having this conversation for goodness sake," she added as she explained to Noel the ins and outs of her bake making sure she alerted him to "not tell her friends" as they will think she "changed."

As the clip cut back to the ITV studio for the lunchtime show on Wednesday Coleen looked directly into the camera as she pleaded with viewers "Please, please don't watch."

"Honestly I am not even exaggerating I am absolutely shocking," she added.

Co-star Christine pointed out it was "one of the most stressful things" her co-star has ever done as she pressed Coleen to chat more about the experience.

"I had it all worked out in my head I gave it my best shot," Coleen continued.

"And then they shout you have five minutes and I think oh god, I've not even put it in the oven yet," as the whole studio and her co-stars burst into laughter.

Coleen added: "They are really strict they don't tell you the time beforehand so it was a disaster.

"But it was for a good cause, wait for my baking book to be released, or how not to bake."

"What a way to ruin your Easter," she joked.

You can see Coleen in all of her bake-off glory on Sunday, April 9 for the Great British Bake Off stand-up to cancer special at 7.40pm on Channel 4.
