Coleen Nolan broke down in tears on Loose Women on Monday (March 27) after it was announced her sister Linda's cancer has spread to her brain. Coleen's older sibling had appeared on another ITV show, Good Morning Britain (GMB), hours earlier to reveal the tragic news.
Photos of 64-year-old Linda and her sisters leaving hospital appeared online last week, sparking concerns for her condition. Giving a candid interview to GMB hosts Susanna Reid and Richard Madeley, she said: "We were recently papped and people have been getting in touch asking 'what's wrong?' and I just want to tell you from me, unfortunately, sadly for me, my cancer has spread to my brain which I only found out on Monday."
Linda added: "It's obviously very frightening because there isn't much help for brain cancer at the moment, apart from radiotherapy which I'm going to be having. But there is a new drug that's been in use for a year for brain cancer and they're going to trial me on that as a chemo drug with some other treatment."

Linda was diagnosed with stage three breast cancer in 2005 before getting the all-clear in 2006. Then in 2017 she was diagnosed with a form of incurable secondary cancer in her hip, which later spread to her liver in 2020.
Linda's cancer battle was raised towards the start of Loose Women as Coleen joined colleagues Ruth Langsford, Brenda Edwards and Janet Street-Porter and told her fellow panellists she had been feeling "really numb" since being told that the cancer had spread to Linda's brain, reports ChronicleLive. She told the ITV show: "I haven't cried because I've just felt really numb.
"I've just thought, I'm so sick of it. It just attacks my family all the time. And I know a lot of people go through it, but selfishly you just think..." Coleen added: "I'm scared of crying because I don't think I'll stop.
"I'm going to cry now so can you move on?" As Coleen started to cry, both Ruth and Janet reached over to lend their support, with Ruth telling Coleen to "take a moment" as she handed her a box of tissues.
Coleen's other sister Anne was diagnosed with cancer at the same time as Linda in 2020, but is now in remission. Their sibling Bernie died in 2013 after a battle with breast cancer.
Fans of The Nolans singer Linda have been wishing her well.
