Cocoa Prices Finish Higher on Smaller Supplies from Ivory Coast

Dec ICE NY cocoa (CCZ23) on Thursday closed +65 (+1.65%), and Dec ICE London cocoa #7 (CAZ23) closed +45 (+1.28%).

Cocoa prices on Thursday closed moderately higher on signs of smaller cocoa output in the Ivory Coast.   On Wednesday, data from the Ivory Coast government showed Ivory Coast farmers shipped 348,560 MT of cocoa to ports from October 1-November 12, down -25.3% from the same time last year.  The Ivory Coast is the world's largest cocoa producer.
