Claude down today: Users report issues as Downdetector shows big spike. Here's latest update

Users reported widespread service disruption on Anthropic’s Claude AI platforms today. Several users reported trouble accessing the chatbot, Claude Code and other services. Reports on Downdetector rose sharply as people complained about failed access, slow responses and other technical problems. The outage appeared to affect several parts of Anthropic’s AI ecosystem rather than being limited to the main Claude chatbot.
