Clare star John Conlon left his brother's wedding early before starring in the Banner County's famous win over Limerick.
At the end of 74 minutes of truly exhilarating action at TUS Gaelic Grounds, the finals whistle blew and Clare had beaten Limerick by a score of 2-20 to 1-24.
Conlon was awarded the man of the match award after the game, and revealed in his post match interview that he left his brother's wedding at 4pm to make throw-in.

And in another twist, Conlon played a key role at the wedding, as he was his brother's best man!
"I'd like to give a shoutout to everyone at my brother's wedding," Conlon said.
"I'd to skip on their about four o'clock from all the best man duties.
"I'm sure they're roaring at the moment, so we'll have some party tonight."
It was a historic evening on a number of fronts for Clare as they beat Limerick for the first time at the Gaelic Grounds in the Munster Championship.
And even more impressively, they became the first side to beat Limerick in the Championship since July 2019, ending a streak that stood at 16 games.
