Christina Applegate gives update to fans after prolonged hospital stay

  • Actor Christina Applegate has posted her first video update since being discharged from a Los Angeles hospital following a reported four-month stay for ongoing health issues.
  • The 54-year-old Dead to Me star showcased her freshly coloured blonde hair in the clip, thanked her hairstylist David Stanwell, and shared a photo of a welcome home sign created by her daughter.
  • Applegate, who revealed her diagnosis with multiple sclerosis in August 2021, has consistently spoken out about the severe physical toll, chronic pain, and depression associated with the incurable condition.
  • During her hospital stay, the actor took a hiatus from her MeSsy podcast, which she co-hosts alongside Jamie-Lynn Sigler, who also lives with multiple sclerosis.
  • The update follows the publication of her memoir in March, in which she candidly reflected on managing her health condition and processing traumatic experiences from her childhood.
