Christian Eriksen says a result against Liverpool on Monday can be the catalyst that Manchester United need to get their season going.
The Dane started both of the club’s opening two defeats to Brighton and Brentford, and could get his third appearance of the season on the night. A natural attacking midfielder, Eriksen struggled in a deeper role in last weekend’s 4-0 defeat to former club Brentford.
There are questions over whether he will start the match with Erik ten Hag expected to change his tactics for the fixture with Jurgen Klopp’s side, who are also winless after two outings.
