Chris Sutton believes Celtic should be asking for upwards of £25million for Josip Juranovic as the transfer chase for the full-back heats up.
Ange Postecoglou snapped up the 27-year-old for just £2.5million from Legia Warsaw last summer and after a stunning 18 months in Glasgow he looks certain to move on. His heroics with Croatia at the World Cup in a run that ended at the semi-final stage has increased interest in his services with the likes of Roma now joining a list of targets that is already reported to include the likes of Atletico Madrid, Real Socieded and Manchester United.
Juranovic has been a key man for Celtic since his arrival with a Premiership winners medal and domestic cup success while he's also picked up Champions League experience. Postecoglou has Anthony Ralston on his books and has already moved to snap up a deal for Canada international Alistair Johnston. Sutton believes a departure for the defender 'wouldn't be ideal' from a team point of view but if they are going to sell they should be looking for 'top dollar'.

Speaking in the Daily Record, he said: "Celtic are probably going to lose Juranovic and they have been ahead of the game with the capture of Alistair Johnston.
"Seeing the Croat go wouldn’t be ideal from a team point of view. You can tell by the selections in the Champions League that he is the first choice right back and, regardless of your succession planning, no manager at any club finds it simple to replace a first choice.
"But it would be excellent for the club’s balance sheet and the evolution of the squad if they get the right price. I’ve already stated that, if Celtic are going to sell, they should be driving a very hard bargain and fighting for top dollar.
"I’d be starting with an asking figure for £25million. Given the stupid money being paid out from some leagues and the desperation of January buying, I certainly believe they’d be selling themselves short with anything that dips well below the £20 million mark."
