Chris de Burgh has blasted online imposters pretending to be him in order to dupe his fans.
The online trolls are offering fake Meet and Greets with Chris, but he has told fans to "be careful" as he is not the person contacting them on social media.
The rock star took to Facebook with a warning about the "rogues" and "criminals" who are pretending to be him.

The Lady in Red singer wrote: "Just to remind you to be very very careful about responding to people who claim to be me.
"I will never reply or request a response on facebook, and will only write back occasionally on FB Messenger."
The singer who is currently on a successful world tour continued: "So please be careful, there are a lot of criminals and rogues out there!"
Chris’ fans were quick to respond to their idol online, with some admitting they had already been conned into thinking he was messaging them.
It is not the first time online trolls have pretended to be Chris. The star previously tried to warn people that scammers were operating on social media, trying to get unsuspecting fans to click on a link.
Chris urged: “Please be aware that there is another scammer on the loose here on this site trying to get you to reply, or click on a link.
"This is not me and I would never ask you to do this."
He added: "Please be aware that a scammer is contacting many of you, offering a 'Meet and Greet' at a venue that you may be going to."
He warned his loyal fans to be on the lookout for such scams and urged them not to engage if contacted by anyone claiming to be him.
He wrote: "Do not reply. It is another confidence trick."
