Former Chelsea defender Glen Johnson believes Christopher Nkunku has all the characteristics to succeed in the Premier League.
As football.london reported earlier in the month, the 24-year-old attacker has penned a pre-contract agreement with the Blues ahead of a proposed move in time for the 2023/24 campaign. Chelsea have a long-term interest in the RB Leipzig and France star and look to have won the race for his signature.
Chelsea have had scouts in attendance of Leipzig matches over the past couple of seasons to watch Nkunku, as well as Josko Gvardiol, who remains a target for the club. Nkunku proved last season his ability in front of goal, with the Frenchman scoring an incredible 31 goals and registering 20 assists in 48 appearances in all competitions.
