On this occasion, Cesar Azpilicueta and Mason Mount could not convert as Liverpool secured a second trophy at the expense of the Londoners.
Sadio Mane was the only Liverpool player unable to convert from 12 yards, though this mattered little in the end as Diogo Jota and Kostas Tsimikas made no mistake following the Senegalese star seeing his effort saved by his international team-mate Edouard Mendy.
