Chelsea are set to ramp up their pursuit of Manchester City forward Raheem Sterling in the coming days as Thomas Tuchel looks to bolster his side ahead of the new season.
Sterling has emerged as one of the German's top picks to enhance the attacking prowess at Stamford Bridge with Romelu Lukaku set to depart in the coming days. The Belgian is set to rejoin Inter Milan on loan and could still be joined out the door by Christian Pulisic, Timo Werner and Hakim Ziyech.
City are open to the idea of selling Sterling in the current transfer window but have a set a £60 million price tag on the England international, despite the player only having one year remaining on his contract at the Etihad. Last season saw him score 13 Premier League goals and claim a fourth top-flight title of his career but it seems a move elsewhere is growing more and more likely.
