The party continues for the Boston Celtics a week removed from winning the 2024 NBA Finals. The champions headed to Fenway Park to celebrate with the Boston Red Sox and their fans Monday night. The Celtics were announced just ahead of the game to massive applause, and the starters threw out the ceremonial first pitch, too. They also made sure to bring along the Larry O’Brien trophy, a symbol of their hard work and success. After the festivities, the team stuck around to watch the game itself, a tightly contested affair between the Red Sox and the visiting Toronto Blue Jays. To cap off the night, Boston won thanks to a walk-off single from Jaren Durren in the bottom of the ninth inning, rounding out a special evening for the fans in attendance.
