Channing Tatum could not hide his delight as he announced that his children's book is being adapted for the big screen.
The Hollywood actor was dressed to impress as he revealed news that his book 'The One and Only Sparkella' will be made into an animated movie on Instagram.
The 42-year-old, who is dad to eight-year-old daughter Everly with his ex Jenna Dewan, was pictured wearing a pick, purple, blue and green tutu and knitted headband coupled with a white t-shirt over a cream jumper.
Channing is also holding his new book 'The One and Only Sparkella Makes A Plan', which is set for release on Tuesday, May 31.
He also posted a photo of a rainbow cardboard house with a Sparkella sign written on the front of it alongside character from his children's novel.
Sparkella, according to the book's official website, "is a charming ode to self-esteem and the love between a father and daughter".
On the post, the actor wrote: "PRIME-TIME IS SHINE TIME!!! @sparkella is coming to life with a live-action movie! It will be adapted by @pamelaribon, who has written some of my favourite animated films.
"Before my next book, #Sparkella Makes a Plan, hits a shelf near you on May 31st, you can grab a copy at Sparkella.com. Let’s GOOOOOOOO!"
Ribon has had roles in films such as Moana, where she was the story writer, Ralph Breaks the Internet as a story writer, screenwriter and was the voice of Snow White and a writer in the movie Smurfs: The Lost Village.
Some of Tatum's celebrity friends were quick to comment on his success, with Breaking Bad star Aaron Paul writing: "Absolutely incredible my friend."
Westworld actress Thandiwe Netwon commented: " Stop it RIGHT NOW OH MY GOD ISNT HE JUST THE MOST ADORABLE human on the planet? Chan!!!"
Comedian Samantha Baines added: " Love it. I’m enjoying how you’ve made the tutu look casual with the t-shirt underneath."
It is not the first time that Channing has dressed up as the "little girl in me". He dressed in similar fashion when he announced he had written his first children's novel during the first lockdown in August 2020.
Sporting an eye mask decorated with long lashes and a crown while donning fairy wings, the doting father also had a number of cuddly toys surrounding him while reading his new book.
