Channing Tatum admits he'll 'never remarry' after reflecting on 'super scary divorce'

Channing Tatum admits he'll 'never remarry' after reflecting on his "super scary" and "terrifying" divorce from ex-wife Jenna Dewan.

The Hollywood actor met former flame Jenna, both 42, on the set of Step Up back in 2006 before tying the knot in July 2009.

The ex-couple's daughter Everly was born four years later, but disaster struck in 2018 when Channing and Jenna announced their separation – divorcing in 2019.

High School Musical star Channing has now reflected on the turbulent time, revealing that he was petrified, saying: "Your life just turns on its axis".

"We fought for it for a really long time, even though we both sort of knew that we had sort of grown apart," he admitted in a new candid interview.

"I think we told ourselves a story when we were young, and we just kept telling ourselves that story, no matter how blatantly life was telling us that we were so different," he said.

Speaking to Vanity Fair about the break-up, he added: "In the beginning, it was super scary and terrifying. Your life just turns on its axis."

Channing stayed 'positive' throughout the process and has now admitted the separation was "exactly what I needed".

After also previously dating singer Jessie J, Channing confessed: "I don’t know if I’m ever going to get married again."

He admitted that "relationships are hard" and called himself a "bit of a monogamist".

Now dating Zoë Kravitz, despite no ringing wedding bells, an insider recently claimed the pair have a "playful energy" and are very much going strong.

A source told People that the couple "seem very happy" and "still have this playful energy that they have had since they first started dating".

"They were getting a lot of attention when they first stepped out together last summer.

"They seemed uncomfortable with the attention and have been much more discreet lately," the source added.

The insider said how Channing spends lots of time in Los Angeles as that is where his daughter Everly lives. Batman actress Zoë is reportedly "very understanding".

They first sparked romance rumours in January 2021 when Zoë cast Channing in Pussy Island. The pair were regularly seen out together on bike rides and enjoying coffee together.
