Chelsea and Liverpool played out a goalless draw at Anfield on Saturday afternoon, leaving Graham Potter's side 10 points off Manchester United in fourth. The game was the first opportunity to see £88million signing Mykhailo Mudryk in his new colours and the Ukrainian showed glimpses of what's to come at Stamford Bridge.
The 22-year-old could have opened his account in spectacular fashion in the second half in Merseyside after surging into Liverpool's penalty area. However, his left-footed effort was fired into the side-netting in a contest of few big chances.
Despite the positives of Mudryk's debut and another clean sheet, Potter was dealt a fresh injury blow with defender Trevoh Chalobah being forced off in the 81st minute.
