David Turnbull's return from injury has been given a positive timeline indication as he's named in the Celtic Europa Conference League squad.
The attacking midfielder from Wishaw has been out of action since injuring his hamstring against Hibs on December 19.
Despite not appearing in 2022, Turnbull has been named in Celtic’s squad for a play-off round clash with Norwegian club Bodo/Glimt.
The first leg at Celtic Park is on February 17 and the Hoops have opted to make him available for this match.
It provides hope that Turnbull's spell in the medical room will soon be over as he eyes a return to competitive action.
Since leaving boyhood club Motherwell in 2020, the Scotland international has gone to become a key player at Parkhead and missed Sunday's Premiership match against his ex-employers.
Tom Rogic's double and a Liel Abada strike put the Hoops 3-0 ahead and Daizen Maeda finished things off in a 4-0 defeat for the Steelmen.
