Celtic fixture details confirmed for Premier Sports Cup tie vs Dundee United

Fixture details for Celtic's trip to Tannadice to take on Dundee United have been confirmed by the SPFL.

Martin O'Neill's side will travel to face Jim Goodwin's team next month in the last-16 stage of the competition.

Now, the SPFL has announced that the fixture will be played on Saturday, August 15, at a kick-off time of 5.45pm, with the game being shown on Premier Sports.

Last season, Celtic got to the final of the competition, then managed by Wilfried Nancy, before being defeated 3-1 at Hampden by St Mirren.

In his only Premier Sports Game in charge of the club during his first interim spell, O'Neill defeated Rangers 3-1 after extra time at the same location.
