In a Q&A session with his fans via his Instagram stories, new Celebs Go Dating contestant Liam Reardon, who found fame after winning Love Island with his former girlfriend Millie Court in 2021, has opened up about the "highs and lows" of going on such a show and his future career plans in television.
The 23-year-old former bricklayer from Merthyr Tydfil took to his social media to answer a series of questions about his personal and professional life, one of which asked: "Considering the highs and lows of reality TV, would you ever do another [show] again?"
In response, the Love Island winner, who joined the Celebs Go Dating line up in hope of finding love again after him and Millie called it quits this summer, said: "Definitely highs and lows going on such a big show as I did. Unfortunately with the world now it's so accessible for people to criticise you and whatever you do there'll always be people who think you're doing wrong.

"But the highs definitely out[weigh] the lows for me, I'm grateful of everything and enjoy [being] on camera. So I do have plans to persue a career in TV in some sort of capacity."
In another question, which asked how the reality star was, he stated he was "concentrating on myself and fitness" and "trying to work towards new things in my career and just enjoying the ride".
He added how he was looking forward to returning to Wales to spend Christmas with his family - although, this Christmas may be a little different for the star as he revealed earlier this year that his family home in Pontsarn, Merthyr Tydfil, in the Brecon Beacons national park, was up for sale. It comes following an exclusive interview with Liam, who fans will see return to their screens on Monday, November 28, in E4's matching-making show Celebs Go Dating, revealed that he was open to a reconciliation with his former girlfriend and co-winner of Love Island 2021, Millie. Telling OK!, Liam said: "Never say never. Maybe one day in the future we’ll rekindle. But for now I just need to do my own thing and be on my own path."
Liam's comments come after he joined the Celebs Go Dating line-up to "take his mind off" the breakup, which happened in July, 2021. He told the publication: "I know her morals and what she has and that is something I would want in someone, in a wife. I need to concentrate on myself and if it’s meant to be, we’ll find our way back to each other."
He added that the 25-year-old from Essex, where he now lives, "understood" his decision to join another dating show, and said: "She understands this lifestyle and career we’re in now so she was fine with it. Her career is going amazingly well. I’m proud of her."
During the Q&A, he was also asked how Celebs Go Dating was. He replied: "Had such a fun time filming this show. Met some lovely lovely people and made some great new friends. Honestly such a laugh, had a great time."
Celebs Go Dating returns to E4 on Monday, November 28 at 10pm.
