Pete Wicks was left in tears after being forced to fight Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins co-star Jennifer Ellison, in scenes that wereb uncomfortable viewing for Channel 4 viewers.
The Only Way is Essex star Pete is one of a number of reality stars on the line-up for the new series of the popular programme, alongside former TOWIE cast member Ferne McCann, Ex on the Beach's Ashley Cain and Love Island contestants Amber Gill and Curtis Pritchard. Other famous faces taking part in the new series of Who Dares Wins include Olympian Fatima Whitbread, who was branded 'an inspiration' by viewers after episode one and ex Brookside actress Jennifer Ellison.
And it was Jennifer who Pete was forced to trade blows with, under orders from the show's no nonsense instructors. Having already seen Amber and Fatima and Ferne and Strictly finalist Maisie Smith indulge in some pretty fierce combat, Pete looked gutted to be drawn against Jennifer. In a piece to camera he said: "It sounds really macho, but I just don't know if I could fight a bird. My mum she's literally the most amazing person and the idea of anyone laying their hands on her, I don't like the idea of it at all."

Jennifer admitted: "I'm all for equal opportunities and everything, but I would be scared fighting a fella. They're stronger than you, they're bigger than you."
The pair, both wearing helmets, were under orders from the instructors, who were shouting on the side-lines, to fight but, after he landed a blow to the back of Jennifer's head, Pete looked distraught as he walked back to his co-stars and wiped tears away.
Jennifer herself was quick to reassure Pete as she walked over and cuddle him, with him telling her: "I'm so sorry."
One viewer was particularly horrified by what they saw, with on taking to Twitter to post: "I don’t understand why anyone would go on this, I turned it on and Pete Wicks punched Jennifer Ellison in the back of the head?! I just switched it off!"
