The preseason is over. That meant it was time for Jerry Jones to get down to business. The Dallas Cowboys team owner did just that on Monday, working out a contract that will make WR CeeDee Lamb a happy, um, missed camper.
Lamb and the Cowboys have come to terms on a four-year contract worth $136 million. Of that huge number, $100 million is guaranteed.
The #Cowboys and All-Pro WR CeeDee Lamb agreed on a four-year, $136 million extension with $100M guaranteed, including a WR-record $38M signing bonus, sources tell me and @RapSheet.
Negotiated by Tory Dandy of CAA, the deal makes Lamb the 2nd-highest-paid non-QB in NFL history. pic.twitter.com/80cZAlD6m9

Lamb is coming off a sensational season that saw him catch 135 passes for 1,749 yards. He has improved catches and receiving yards in each of his four seasons.
