Casper Ruud Advances To Barcelona Open Quarterfinals With Straight Sets Win

In a thrilling match at the Barcelona Open, Casper Ruud secured his spot in the quarterfinals by defeating Jordan Thompson in straight sets. This victory marked Ruud's 26th win of the season, putting him in the lead for most wins in 2024.

The Norwegian player, seeded third in the tournament and ranked No. 6, displayed exceptional skill and determination on the clay court. Ruud is aiming to reach his fourth final of the year, having previously made it to the finals in Los Cabos, Acapulco, and Monte Carlo.
