Carol Vorderman has responded after I’m A Celebrity star Melvin Odoom revealed she is his dream woman.
The BBC Radio 1 star is currently competing in the ITV show and stunned his fellow campmates when he chose to have a pillow with former Countdown star Vorderman on it as his luxury item to help him get through his time in the jungle.
During Wednesday’s show, Odoom admitted that such was the extent of his feelings for the maths whizz, he had been unable to even speak to her when they were both at the Pride of Britain Awards last month.
Speaking in the Bush Telegraph, Odoom said: "She could be watching this right now and be thinking, ‘I need myself a jungle man.’"
He went on to say that he would take Vorderman’s surname, should they ever get married.

She told him: "Melvin, a strong woman like that is gonna appreciate you going: 'I just wanna say I think you're a sensational woman and I'd love to take you out for a drink and get to know you if you'd be happy to oblige me.’"
The former X Factor judge then suggested they act out how he could approach Vorderman, with Contostavlos pretending to be the object of Odoom’s affections.
He asked: "Hello Carol, great work on Pride of Britain. Are you free on Saturday?"
The other campmates then weighed-in, telling him he was trying too hard.
Attempting to give it another go, he said: "You look sensational today, you're actually glowing, has anyone ever said that? Listen, I've booked a restaurant for next week, it's gonna be Thai food all expenses paid, I'm gonna send the cab to your house for about 8pm, I'll see you there."
In response, Contostavlos jumped up and ran after him.
But would Vorderman be as easily impressed? Yes, it would seem and yes, she has been watching.
Vorderman - who took part in I’m A Celebrity herself back in 2016 - has indeed been watching and sent in a voice note revealing what she made of it all to spin-off show I'm a Celebrity... Unpacked.
“Melvin… or should I say jungle man, Melvin Vorderman,” she said teasingly. “Right, question, have you been spying on me? Because only last night I had little Thai food..."
"Jungle man, keep doing what you are doing, you’re doing a brilliant job. see you on other side."
