Carol Vorderman has announced her return to our TV screens as she is set to join the line up of Celebrity Gogglebox. Taking to Instagram, the 61-year-old shared the news with excited fans as she posted a picture alongside pal Gyles Brandreth.

The former Countdown star posted a picture of herself and Gyles ready to watch the telly on an orange sofa with mugs. Writing alongside she said: "So I'm making my debut this Friday 9pm on one of my favourite shows of all time and joining the @c4gogglebox gang....with my friend of 40 years @gylesbrandreth....

"Watch this week and let me know if you agree....we're a bit vocal"
