Carlo Ancelotti to sue Everton in London High Court

Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti has filed a claim to sue Everton in London’s high court.

Ancelotti’s lawyers filed the Italian’s claim against his former employers late on Friday, according to court records. It relates to “general commercial contracts and arrangements” and is listed to be heard in the commercial court although no further details are provided about the basis of the claim.

Ancelotti, 64, was appointed Everton manager in December 2019, signing a four-and-a-half year contract but he quit after just 18 months in charge to be re-hired by Real Madrid on June 1, 2021, who had previously taken charge of between 2013-15.
