A caravan has been completely destroying in a fire near the M32. Black smoke was seen pouring out above the motorway after a caravan on New Stadium Road went up in flames near the IKEA, report witnesses.
Avon Fire and Rescue Service were called to the site of the fire at 8.22pm on tonight (April 23) to reports of a caravan on fire. Two fire engines were sent from Temple and found the van well alight upon arrival.
The caravan was 100 percent destroyed in the blaze, a spokesperson for Avon Fire and Rescue Service told BristolLive. The spokesperson added no people were inside at the time of the fire and no-one was injured.

Crews remain on the scene damping down the area and ensuring the site is secure before leaving. Photos taken at the scene show huge plumes of smoke rising from the area above the remains of a caravan.
One witness, who was in a car nearby, captured footage of plumes of black smoke coming from the area near the M32. Another witness said: "One of the caravans where people are living in loads of caravans between IKEA and the M32 has gone up in flames."
A spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Police told BristolLive it was unclear how the fire began. The force is appealing for witnesses or anyone with information on the fire to come forward.
The spokesperson said: "Police and fire crews were called to a caravan fire on New Stadium Road, Bristol, at about 8.20pm on Sunday 23 April. The fire was put out by 8.40pm and there are no reported injuries.
"Early enquiries suggest the caravan was uninhabited.It's not clear how the fire started. If you have any information about how it happened, please call 101 and give the log number 894 of 23 April."
