A parked car was smashed through a front garden wall.
It was reported that a grey Volkswagen Passat was parked outside Roby newsagents, on Greystone Road, when it was struck by a black BMW. The parked car was pushed through the front garden wall of a nearby property during the crash.
Police confirmed the driver left the scene in the car and said an investigation was now underway. Both the Volkswagen and garden wall were damaged.

A spokesperson for Merseyside police said: "We can confirm that police were on Greystone Road in Broadgreen following a collision in the area yesterday.
"At around 2.40pm we received a report that a car had drove into the wall of an address on Greystone Road following a collision involving a black BMW and a silver Volkswagen Passat that was parked outside a newsagent in the Roby area of Liverpool.
"The parked car was pushed through a front garden wall, causing damage to the vehicle and the wall. The driver of the black BMW drove off after the incident. An investigation is underway in the area.
