Revenue officers have seized over €400,000 worth of cannabis during a search in Kildare.
The discovery was made on Thursday through an intelligence led operation. Revenue officers initially seized 17 kilograms of herbal cannabis, with an estimated value of €340,000.
Gardai then carried out a further search at an industrial premises in Athy, where more drugs were unearthed. Gardai seized 272 packets of edible jellies with an estimated value of €13,600, as well as cannabis worth €60,000.

A man, aged in his 40s, was arrested following the discovery. He was later detained under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice Act at a local Garda station in Kildare.
The man has since been charged. He will appear before the Dublin District Court at 10:30am this morning
